    Very valuable article. Deserves the widest possible dissemination. It was especially interesting for me to see Iraq described as "The fulcrum of the Middle East". We can thank George Bush and his lies about WMD for that. I wonder how many billions it costs to support the foolishness he left for his confused successor.

But North America is drifting away from a strict reliance on middle eastern energy resources, thanks to the Canadian oil sands and North American natural gas resources.Obama's energy starvation policies and carbon hysteric EPA and Interior Departments are doing maximum damage to the US economy, among other Obama policies. But who's counting? :-* From Bush to Obama, from the frying pan to the fire? Friends of the US are simply out of luck, although the US' enemies are cackling right about now.
