    I'll add one prediction to your list, which is the unwholesome fact that the 7 billion problem today might turn out to be a 9 or 10 billion super-problem at mid-century. I think I'll also suggest that if nuclear weapons had not been invented, we would see the kind of wars that Mr Rambo promised one of the fools harassing him.
