Wim de Vriend

Wim de Vriend, a native of the Netherlands, lives on the U.S. West Coast.  He has degrees in international business from Nyenrode University in the Netherlands and from the University of Oregon, including an MBA.  He has worked in advertising and market research, is a retired restaurant owner, and has published 5 books, most on historical topics.  His magnum opus, ‘The JOB Messiahs’, chronicles the economic decline of a small harbor on the scenic Oregon coast, and forty catastrophic years of government efforts to re-industrialize it.
