Pedro Vergel

Pedro Vergel has more than thirty-six years of experience in global oil and gas exploration and production operations. Pedro advises Schlumberger on process optimization and special projects; he had also provided professional and technical advice to major Venture Capital Organizations and Oil & Gas Service Companies on global portfolio expansion, acquisitions and integration. Pedro recently served as Executive Manager Drilling and Workover for YPF S.A. in Argentina; also previously spent almost 30 years with Schlumberger serving in various global and regional managerial, operational and staff positions around the world (resident in 11 countries).

Pedro holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tucuman (Argentina), an Associate degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, also attended Penn-Wharton's Advanced Management Program (AMP). He is a SPE and IAPG member.
