  Mercedes acquired their technology through tesla! They are a major stockholder of tesla and paid them accordingly to use their knowledge to create their own ev. And for every retard again, ev's are cleaner, using battery technology! Tesla's batteries can be 100% recycled and most even reused to create new ones. Solar energy is already as efficient as fossil fuels, its just the question how we acquire our energy needs! At one point we will be able to utilize every surface for solar purposes, rendering all other energy creation useless or inpractical. Water sounds good, but I rather drink it. Oil does not taste good! Water needs to be transported, stored and reacquirred, which can be problematic and cause other problems in the world. the sun although will shine everywhere on earth every day! Its just a matter of time for solar technology to get mainstream and affordable. Anything else is just a compromise for something biting our own ass! Until someone inventssomethimg to suck energy out of the aether, solar is the best choice! People, please think! Water is NOT a better solution! Just connect the dots! A leads to B and in the end to Z! Same with water, except the sun, which is unlimited. To utilize limited resources when we can have it free, what idiots are really proposing such stupid ideas! Give a thirsty dude rather a glas of water to drink! When waterbeould be abundant, we would mot fight or pay for it! We are already paying for water? Anybody get that nonsense? Guess not!

  Electric cars have no future in Germany. The energy prices rised 10O% in the last 10 years. The gains of the energy providers are rising more than 500% in the same time. Many poor people are without electrical power supply. The government is full with corrupt lobbyists. Only the rich people have the power. I live not far from Daimler and I hate them. Personally I own a japanese car. It drives and drives and drives. Daimler cars are often out of working.

  Cars that run on water is a far better idea than expensive Lithium batteries. Stanley Meyer has already done it and had 3 US patents on this.

  At current gas prices, the car would pay for itself after 106,000 miles based on premium gas which I use in both of my gas powered Mercedes...

  Great news except the price. Install the technology in a small sedan and light trucks and sell it for $25,000 and you would make money
