IAE, Iran to Meet in Vienna

The UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has said that Iranian representatives have agreed to meet with the agency in Vienna on Friday in another round of nuclear talks.

Shortly after the scheduled meeting, the UN agency is expected to release its quarterly report on Iran's nuclear program and the progress of negotiations.

At this point, nuclear talks are a red herring, and coincide with leaks and counter-leaks from the US and Israel about who can and should attack Iran, as well as when and how.

The short version of this story is that Washington, as purposefully "leaked", is that Washington is cutting a deal with Israel to stand down on Iran until after US elections, but could consider a strike against Iran before the end of the year.

At the same time, Israeli President Shimon Peres has chimed in, warning Israel of the implications of attacking Iran unilaterally.
