Horizontal Land Rig Count Summary 29th April 2016

The horizontal U.S. land rig count fell 8 to 324 and the total land rig count fell 10 to 391.

Tight oil lost 4 rigs--3 in the Eagle Ford and 1 in the Mississippi Lime-Granite Wash.

Shale gas lost 5 rigs--2 in the Marcellus and 3 in the Woodford.

"Other" horizontal plays gained 1 rig.
